Nelson County Youth Soccer League practices and plays games at the Dean Watts Park. Registration for the fall soccer season will begin in early July and spring registration will begin in January. The cost is $45 for U-8 to U-19 and $35 for U-6. Age of participant: 4-18 years before July 31. The Bardstown-Nelson County Recreation Department organizes three basketball leagues.Fifth Quarter Basketball for children ages Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Sign-ups will begin in Sept. There is a boys and girls division in this league. The fee is $30. Junior League Basketball is for 7th and 8th graders that do not play for a school team. This league will take sign-ups in September and begins in November. The fee is $45. Senior League Basketball is for high school students in grades 9-12 who are not on a school team roster.
